2014: Java in Flames Broken Java Stacks (2014) When I joined Netflix in 2014, I found Java's lack of frame pointer support broke all application stacks (pictured in my 2014 Surge talk on the right). We may get there with future technologies I'll cover later. But I'd rather the cost be zero, of course!

My post Good Times for Load Testing was published in 2014. I am not so upbeat as I was in 2014. If we speak about commercial load testing tools, we see rather a shrinking market and not too much innovation recently. In 2014 I was preparing a presentation about load testing tools and criteria for their selection.
