For example, PDC’s Beskow system has 11 cabinets, 515 blades, 2,060 compute nodes, and a total of 67,456 cores. This is also commonly known as “double precision” on many computer systems. We build creator tooling to enable these colleagues to focus their time and energy on creativity. Unfortunately, much of their energy goes into labor-intensive pre-work. We implemented a batch processing system for users to submit their requests and wait for the system to generate the output.

Engineering stop-energy in standards and quasi-standards bodies is nice and all, but it is so much more work than simply denying anyone the ability to ship the features that you won't. native, OS-specific) platform and the hopefully weaker web platform.
