I came up with a great demo where I could break Solaris 9 and 10 servers in the same way, then demonstrate how it would take an hour and a reboot cycle to fix Solaris 9, but minutes and no reboot to fix Solaris 10. But there's another factor at play: jobs are also migrating from both Solaris and Linux to cloud jobs instead, specifically AWS.
