In almost every area, Apple's low-quality implementation of features WebKit already supports requires workarounds not necessary for Firefox (Gecko) or Chrome/Edge/Brave/Samsung Internet (Blink). After finding it cost prohibitive to use colocation centers in local markets where their users are based, iZettle decided to give up hardware. After migrating, database queries that took six seconds now take three seconds in their AWS infrastructure.
