The Lamborghini website was being hosted on outdated infrastructure when the company decided to boost their online presence to coincide with the launch of their Aventador J sports car. The website went online in less than one month and was able to support a 250 percent increase in traffic around the launch of the Aventador J.

Time is a crucial usability factor If you don't consider time a crucial usability factor, you're missing a fundamental aspect of the user experience I'm embarrassed to admit that, in my previous career as a usability tester, I spent years testing websites in lab conditions. It never crossed my mind to take rendering time into consideration.

Protractor was created in 2013 when WebDriver APIs were not yet a standard and end-to-end (e2e) tests were hard to write due to lack of support for async / await. Protractor is an end-to-end test framework that was made for angular and angularJS applications in 2013. These people use it to automate tests for their angular websites.

This reconfirms observations from the HTTP Archive , published by Steve Souders in 2013. Having worked on browsers for more than a decade, I think it would be shocking if a browser team agreed to more than 10 MiB for a feature like this, especially if it won't dramatically speed up the majority of existing websites.
