tl;dr: I don’t want C++ to limit what I can express efficiently. The main improvement MSLs give is that a program data race will not corrupt the language’s own virtual machine (whereas in C++ a data race is currently all-bets-are-off undefined behavior). Efficiency. Then I can still use fully modern C++… just nicer.
