Cloud-hosted Kubernetes clusters are on par to overtake on-premises deployments in 2023. Accordingly, the remaining 27% of clusters are self-managed by the customer on cloud virtual machines. More clusters moved to the cloud from on-premises in 2022, and are thus on par to overtake on-premises deployments in 2023.

C++23 “Pandemic Edition” is complete (Trip report: Winter ISO C++ standards meeting, Issaquah, WA, USA)

We resolved the remaining international comments on the C++23 draft, and are now producing the final document to be sent out for its international approval ballot (Draft International Standard, or DIS) and final editorial work, to be published later in 2023. We had about 160 attendees, more than half in-person and the others remote via Zoom.
