By definition, a distributed system is any system that comprises of multiple components on variety of machines that work together to appear as a single, organized system. Although the definition may seem straightforward, in the real-world, a distributed system is one of the most complex environments to understand, manage, and monitor.

A cluster is just a pool of compute resources available to a customer’s applications. The agent is written in Go, has a minimal footprint, and is available on GitHub under an Apache license. This architecture affords Amazon ECS high availability, low latency, and high throughput because the data store is never pessimistically locked.

HTML, CSS, images, and fonts can all be parsed and run at near wire speeds on low-end hardware, but JavaScript is at least three times more expensive, byte-for-byte.
