Netflix headquarters circa 2014. It’s a nice building with good architecture! However, a more scalable approach would be to begin with a new foundation and begin a new building. I had also turned down a job offer at that time, and when I called back in 2004 they took me on as a Distinguished Engineer in their Operations Architecture team. My own theory for why companies kept buying Skype every few years was to to prevent Google from buying it… it was sold again and ended up at Microsoft.
