Allez, rendez-vous à Paris – An AWS Region is coming to France!

Since we opened the first AWS EU Region in Ireland in November 2007, we have seen an acceleration of companies adopting the AWS Cloud. Our CDN and DNS network now has 18 points of presence across Europe, we have added a third AZ in Ireland, a second infrastructure region in Frankfurt and a third region in the UK (due in coming months).

In 2007, we opened our first AWS Region in Ireland and since then have opened additional regions, in Germany and the UK, with France still to come. It will also give customers another region where they can store their data with the knowledge that it will not leave the EU unless they move it.
