I presented this analysis of response time distributions talk in 2016 — at Microxchg in Berlin ( video ). The distribution shows more structure.

adrianco : The AWS EC2 NTP service has been backed by atomic clocks for the last few years. As with all software systems, there are a number of competing constraints that have been weighed that have led to compromises. atombender : I don't think GraphQL is over-hyped at all. Maybe it's flawed, but the design is absolutely on the right traack.

adrianco : I think the main thing cloud native apps do that datacenter apps don’t do is scale elastically (even down to zero in some cases) and maintain high utilization, so you stop paying when you stop using the resource. @kelseyhightower : Kubernetes is for people building platforms.

I first became aware of Citroen’s as a child when my father pointed out a Citroen DS and told me about it’s advanced aerodynamics and technology, including the hydropneumatic suspension system.
