Having done this before, it reminds me of CSS programming: you make a little change here and everything breaks, and you spend hours chasing your own tail. For Fedora, one person requested: "Meta and/or Netflix should provide infrastructure for a side repository in which the change can be tested and benchmarked and the code size measured."
