I made major contributions to two Sun Blueprints books on Resource Management (1999) with Richard McDougall, Evert Hoogendoorn, Enrique Vargas, and Jim Bialaski, and Capacity Planning for Internet Services (2001) with Bill Walker. I was looking for a new challenge, so joined the program and ended up getting certified as a “black belt”.
