Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL 13.10
Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL 13.10 was released on March 27, 2023. It is a collection of tools to assist you in managing PostgreSQL. Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL installs PostgreSQL and complements it with a selection of extensions that enable solving essential practical tasks efficiently. Release highlights include:

pgpool– a middleware between PostgreSQL server and client for high availability, connection pooling, and load balancing. - Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL is now available on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and compatible derivatives

Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL 12.14
March 29, 2023, saw the release of Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL 12.14. This release of Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL is based on PostgreSQL 12.14. Release highlights include:

Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL 11.19
Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL 11.19 was released on March 31, 2023. Percona Distribution for PostgreSQL is also shipped with the libpq library. It contains “a set of library functions that allow client programs to pass queries to the PostgreSQL backend server and to receive the results of these queries.”

Percona Distribution for MySQL (Percona Server for MySQL-based variation) 8.0.32
Percona Distribution for MySQL (PS-based variation) 8.0.32 was released on March 28, 2023. It is the most stable, scalable, and secure open-source MySQL distribution, with two download options: one based on Percona Server for MySQL and one based on Percona XtraDB Cluster. Percona decided to revert the following MySQL bug fix:
The data and the GTIDs backed up by mysqldump were inconsistent when the options --single-transaction and --set-gtid-purged=ON were both used. It was because in between the transaction started by mysqldump and the fetching of GTID_EXECUTED, GTIDs on the server could have increased already. With this fixed, a FLUSH TABLES WITH READ LOCK is performed before the fetching of GTID_EXECUTED to ensure its value is consistent with the snapshot taken by mysqldump.
The MySQL fix also added a requirement when using –single-transaction and executing FLUSH TABLES WITH READ LOCK for the RELOAD privilege. (Bug #33630199, Bug #105761)
The current Percona decision also provides a solution for MySQL bug #33630199.

The second update to the release of Percona Distribution for MySQL (PXC-based variation) 8.0.31 was released on April 4, 2023. This update includes a fix to the security vulnerability CVE-2022-25834 with PXB-2977.

This release of Percona XtraDB Cluster 8.0.31-23 includes the fix to the security vulnerability CVE-2022-25834 with PXB-2977.

Percona XtraDB Cluster 5.7.41-31.65
Percona XtraDB Cluster 5.7.41-31.65 was released on April 5, 2023. In this release, Percona has removed an Oracle patch for mysqldump that performed, at the beginning of the dump, a FLUSH_TABLES_WITH_READ_LOCK to get consistent GTID_EXECUTED because the patch required additional user privileges, even when the user does not use GTID-based replication.

Percona XtraBackup 8.0.32-26 was released on April 4, 2023. It enables MySQL backups without blocking user queries. Percona XtraBackup is ideal for companies with large data sets and mission-critical applications that cannot tolerate long periods of downtime. Offered free as an open source solution, Percona XtraBackup drives down backup costs while providing unique features for MySQL backups. This release includes improvements and bug fixes. Percona has implemented a two-stage release process for each version. The first release primarily ensures compatibility with the latest MySQL version, to help those customers who need an updated version of Percona XtraBackup as soon as possible. The second release contains additional bug fixes and any improvements or new features.

Percona XtraBackup 2.4.28
On April 4, 2023, we released Percona XtraBackup 2.4.28. Percona XtraBackup 2.4 does not support making backups of databases created in MySQL 8.0, Percona Server for MySQL 8.0, or Percona XtraDB Cluster 8.0. Install Percona XtraBackup 8.0 to make backups for these versions.

Percona Distribution for MongoDB 6.0.5
Percona Distribution for MongoDB 6.0.5 was released on March 29, 2023. It is a freely available MongoDB database alternative, giving you a single solution that combines enterprise components from the open source community, designed and tested to work together. The aim of Percona Distribution for MongoDB is to enable you to run and operate your MongoDB efficiently with the data being consistently backed up. Release highlights include:
- Added support for authentication using AWS IAM enables you to natively integrate Percona Server for MongoDB with AWS services, increase security of your infrastructure by setting up password-less authentication and offload your DBAs from managing different sets of secrets. This is a technical preview feature
- Improved master key rotation for data at rest encrypted with HashiCorp Vault enables you to use the same secret key path on every server in your entire deployment thus significantly simplifying the secrets management and key rotation process.

Percona Server for MongoDB 6.0.5-4
March 29, 2023, saw the release of Percona Server for MongoDB 6.0.5-4. It is an enhanced, source-available, and highly-scalable database that is a fully-compatible, drop-in replacement for MongoDB 6.0.5 Community Edition. It is rebased on MongoDB 6.0.5 Community edition and supports the upstream protocols and drivers. Improvements and bug fixes provided by MongoDB and included in Percona Server for MongoDB are listed in the release notes.

Percona Operator for MySQL 0.5.0
On March 30, 2023, we released Percona Operator for MySQL based on Percona Server for MySQL 0.5.0. Percona Operator for MySQL allows users to deploy MySQL clusters with both asynchronous and group replication topology. This release includes various stability improvements and bug fixes, getting the Operator closer to the General Availability stage. Version 0.5.0 of the Percona Operator for MySQL is still a tech preview release and it is not recommended for production environments. As of today, we recommend using Percona Operator for MySQL based on Percona XtraDB Cluster, which is production-ready and contains everything you need to quickly and consistently deploy and scale MySQL clusters in a Kubernetes-based environment, on-premises or in the cloud.

Percona Operator for PostgreSQL 1.4.0
Percona Operator for PostgreSQL 1.4.0 was released on March 31, 2023. Improvements include:
- K8SPG-188: Add Custom Resource options to set static IP address for the pgPrimary, pgReplicas, and pgBouncer LoadBalancers
- K8SPG-269: It is now possible to define affinity and anti-affinity rules for backup Pods
- K8SPG-270: The new
schedule.backrestOptsCustom Resource option allows customizing pgBackRest parameters for scheduled backups - K8SPG-292: The Operator now uses units based on the power of 2 (e.g.
