Dynatrace named to Constellation ShortList™ for Digital Performance Management for 6th straight year

Dynatrace has again been named to the Constellation ShortList™ for Digital Performance Management (DPM) for Q3 2021. This marks Dynatrace’s sixth consecutive appearance on this list and adds to a host of other accolades for Dynatrace so far this year, including being named a Leader in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and scoring highest in four of five use cases in the 2021 Gartner Critical Capabilities for APM report.

The Constellation ShortList™ for DPM evaluates more than 25 vendors by judging their solutions on how they meet threshold criteria, including full-stack monitoring, mobile application monitoring, customer behavior analytics, and customer journey insights to make better business decisions. The report also evaluates how solutions help to “connect the dots between customer journeys, application performance, and business outcomes.” This year’s list focused particularly on the use of machine learning and self-service reporting. Of the more than 25 solutions assessed by Constellation, Dynatrace was among the eight vendors chosen to make the ShortList™.

Why Digital Performance Management matters

As digital transformation continues to accelerate, the intersection of IT performance and business goals are becoming increasingly connected. It’s not enough to only look at performance metrics around application speed, downtime, outages, configuration changes, and capacity issues, or to look at performance in a silo. To drive collaboration between the business and IT, organizations must gain visibility into how performance impacts user experience and affects business KPIs, such as conversions and revenue.

Implementing a comprehensive DPM strategy enables organizations to bring together many different departments and stakeholders across IT, marketing, customer service, and others to provide them with a more complete picture of digital experience. With an understanding and view into how application performance, user experience and business goals intersect, companies can deliver better digital experiences for their customers to drive revenue and increase brand loyalty.
