Total Blocking Time ( TBT ) A metric that helps quantify the severity of how non-interactive a page is prior to it becoming reliably interactive (that is, the main thread has been free of any tasks running over 50ms ( long tasks ) for at least 5s). No wonder, then, that a low TBT is a good indicator for good performance.
