It is quite expected that developers may omit certain ‘closing tag’ or ‘semicolon’ in the syntax while writing code. Check DOCTYPE tag. Older versions of Internet Explorer check for the DOCTYPE tag at the beginning of the code. If the tag is not found then the application is not properly rendered. Validate HTML and CSS.

This is a common problem for many responsive frameworks, such as Bootstrap CSS. The <picture> tag works in the same way that CSS media queries do. In the above code, the <img> tag is used as the default. The image will not load in this situation, because there is no <img> tag.

The design was made by a design and UX agency that also handled the HTML prototype (based on Bootstrap 4). These were stored as one big svg tag in the HTML head of the page, with a symbol for each of the icons that was then used as a linked svg in the HTML’s body. Icon Loading.
