Interest and usage have increased as OpenAI has released more capable versions of its language model: GPT-3.5 Google’s Bard/Gemini, Anthropic’s Claude, and other models have made similar improvements. The New York Times’ lawsuit against OpenAI isn’t about a single article; if it were, it would hardly be worth the legal fees.
